How it works

  1. Step 1

    Apply online

Tell us what the certificate is for, the dates and your symptoms or condition. Provide the required evidence, choose a package, review your answers and pay.

  2. Step 2

    A doctor reviews your application

A registered medical practitioner reviews it. They may ask for more information, a call or teleconsultation, reports, or an in-person examination.

  3. Step 3

    Receive it if approved

The signed certificate is sent by WhatsApp and email. If it can’t be issued, a refund follows our refund policy.

Why a doctor reviews every application

A medical certificate is a doctor’s professional opinion. It is only worth something if a registered practitioner actually assessed you and is accountable for what they signed. That is why there is no automatic issuance here, and why some applications need a call, reports or an examination first. The doctor can decline; when they do, the refund policy applies.

Applied for Form 1A here. I had uploaded the wrong document first and they messaged me asking for the correct one. After that it was done smoothly.

First time using an online medical certificate service so I was doubtful. The doctor review and status updates made it feel more proper than I expected.

Good service. Only suggestion is to make the certificate status page simpler because I had to check twice to understand the stage.

Applied from my phone and finished everything without needing a laptop. That matters for these kinds of services.

Questions

Is a medical certificate issued online valid?
A certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner after an appropriate assessment is a valid medical certificate, whether the assessment was remote or in person. Doctor-reviewed and digitally verifiable. Acceptance is determined by the receiving organisation and applicable rules. Check whether the receiving organisation needs a specific format or an in-person examination.
Which certificate do I need?
Sick leave for time off because of illness; recovery to return afterwards; fitness for joining a job, admission or sport; work from home for a medical recommendation to work remotely; caretaker to look after a family member; travel fitness for travel; Form 1A for a driving licence. If none fits, apply for a general medical certificate and describe what you need.
How fast can I get my medical certificate?
Most complete applications are reviewed within 24 hours. A faster option changes when the doctor looks at your application, not what they decide; an application that needs a call, reports or an examination takes as long as that takes.
Will my employer or college accept an online medical certificate?
Most do: the certificate carries the doctor's name, registration council, signature and a verification QR code, which is what HR and college offices check. Doctor-reviewed and digitally verifiable. Acceptance is determined by the receiving organisation and applicable rules. If your organisation insists on its own format, upload it while applying and the doctor completes it where they can certify the content.
Where is Form 1A available?
Form 1A applications are currently accepted for Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Gujarat, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Haryana, Punjab, Telangana, Rajasthan, Odisha, Chhattisgarh. The list changes as state transport portals change; the application always shows the current list.
How much does a medical certificate cost?
Digital packages start at ₹699. Handwritten scans and shipping are separate package choices. Your selected package, total, review timing and refund terms are shown before payment. Issuance depends on the clinician’s assessment. Form 1A starts at ₹999.
What types of medical certificates do you offer?
Sports fitness certificate, Adoption fitness certificate, Unfit to travel certificate, General medical certificate, Sick leave certificate, Fitness certificate, Form 1A for driving licence, Recovery certificate, Work from home certificate, Caretaker certificate, Travel fitness certificate. Each has its own page explaining what the doctor assesses and what the certificate says.
Do you issue backdated or false medical certificates?
No. A doctor can only certify what they assessed. If you were unwell on earlier dates and can show it (a consultation, reports, a pharmacy bill, your own account of symptoms), the doctor can record a retrospective assessment that states when you were seen and what you reported. Nothing is fabricated, and the dates on the certificate are the dates the doctor can stand behind.
What documents do I need to apply?
A government photo ID, your symptoms or condition in your own words, and anything that supports it: reports, a prescription, photos, a discharge summary. A fitness certificate usually needs recent vitals or a check-up; Form 1A needs your licence or learner's licence details and an eye-test result. The application lists exactly what each certificate needs before you pay.
Can I get a handwritten certificate sent by courier?
Yes. Handwritten certificate, scan and shipping (₹1,399) adds a handwritten original on the doctor's letterhead, dispatched by courier after approval; you still get the signed PDF first. Some older institutions and a few government offices ask for this.
Can the doctor use my organisation's format?
Yes. Upload the format while applying; it adds ₹250. The doctor completes it only with what they can certify.
Is an in-person visit ever required?
Sometimes. The doctor decides after reading your application. Fitness certificates for sports or employment, and anything that depends on an examination the doctor cannot do over a call, may need a clinic visit or recent reports. If that applies to you, the doctor tells you before deciding, and you can choose to continue or take a refund under the refund policy.
What happens if the doctor can't issue the certificate?
The doctor may first ask for more information, a call or reports. If they decide a certificate isn't appropriate, it isn't issued and a refund is processed under our refund policy, which may deduct a doctor review fee.
How can my employer or college check the certificate?
Each certificate has a unique number and a QR code. Scanning the code or opening its verification link confirms the certificate was issued through PingMeDoc and has not been revoked.
